We don’t need to help God solve His equations. Remember His foolishness is wiser than man. The Father is the first among equals. He is the lead among the Trinity but this doesn’t make Jesus and the Holy Spirit unequal to Him and the equality doesn’t stop Jesus and the Holy Spirit from submitting to His leadership.

Now, in marriage, by God’s equation, 1+1=1 yet the husband is the team lead in this equal union. His being the lead doesn’t in anyway change the equation from 1+1=1 to bigger fraction+lower fraction=1 and it shouldn’t still stop the wife from submitting to her husband’s leadership despite the equality. When we align with and yield ourselves properly to God, these things won’t be difficult, on both the man’s and woman’s sides. The husband won’t abuse his privilege as the leader of his equal partner, his wife, and misbehave, and the wife will submit too, despite the equality. But should we sometimes struggle, the Holy Spirit will help us realign as we continue to let Him be Lord.
